The connector consists of two parts that is locked with a set screw. With the M-E coupling the bone screw can be locked to the rod at any angle. The connector is designed to be used with the same bone screws as the standard screwlink. The connector is available in two versions, the standard connector and a low profile version.
This is a new polyaxial screw for the Anatomica Cervical system. The connector locks the screw firmly to the rod in a variable angle using a patented technique with an expanding washer. The screw is self tapping to make it easy to use.
